Neighbors on the Wheel, Strangers by Temperament

Adjacent signs form a semi-sextile: a 30° angle, the narrowest gap on the zodiac wheel. Proximity is misleading here. Signs one apart never share an element, a modality, or a ruling planet, so there's no automatic shorthand between them. There's no shared language to fall back on, so understanding has to be constructed through explicit conversation — stating assumptions, naming expectations, translating rather than assuming.
