Privacy Policy
Last updated August 2026
This policy explains what information The Transit Report ("we," "us") collects when you use thetransitreport.com, and what we do with it. We keep this deliberately short, because we don't collect much.
What we collect
Browsing the free parts of the site — daily horoscopes, articles, the glossary, sign and compatibility pages — doesn't require an account and doesn't collect any personal information from you. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.
If you buy a Monthly or Yearly Report, the purchase is handled by Paddle, our payment provider. Paddle collects your email address and payment details directly, acting as the merchant of record for the transaction — we never see or store your card details ourselves. We use the email address you provide at checkout for one purpose only: sending you the report you paid for.
If you email us, we keep that email thread for as long as needed to answer your question or resolve the issue you wrote in about.
Like any website, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability purposes. We don't use this to identify individual visitors.
How we use it
To deliver a report you've purchased, to respond when you contact us, and to keep the site running securely. That's the full list — we don't send marketing emails, and we don't maintain a mailing list beyond what's needed to fulfil an order.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your information to anyone. A small number of service providers process data on our behalf in order to run the site: Paddle (payments), Vercel (hosting), and Neon (database storage). Each handles data under their own privacy policy, and only has access to what's necessary to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
Purchase records are kept as long as needed for accounting and legal purposes. Contact emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve the conversation, unless we're required to keep them longer by law.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing reports@thetransitreport.com. Since we don't hold accounts or profiles, there's usually very little to find — mainly purchase and correspondence records.
Children
This site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in any meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
