Same Ruler, Different Instructions Entirely

You'd expect these two to slot together neatly. Both are ruled by Venus, so both care about beauty, comfort, and the feeling of a room -- neither will tolerate a scratchy sofa or a badly lit restaurant for long. That's real common ground, and it shows up fast. The first few conversations tend to go beautifully.

Then the angle shows up. Five signs apart is the awkward one: no shared element, no shared modality, nothing structural to fall back on. Taurus is Earth and Fixed -- it wants the plan settled, the thing owned, the routine kept. Libra is Air and Cardinal -- it wants to discuss the plan, weigh it against three other plans, and possibly start something entirely new by Thursday. Venus expresses herself through soil in one and through conversation in the other, and those two languages don't automatically translate.

So you get the strange experience of agreeing on the destination and arguing about the route. Taurus reads Libra's endless considering as indecision.
