Two Immovable Objects, Facing Each Other Across the Wheel

Six signs apart is the widest gap the zodiac offers: 180 degrees, a straight line through the center of the wheel. Oppositions aren't distant, though — they're the closest thing astrology has to a mirror. Taurus and Scorpio are looking directly at each other, and each sees a version of the same instinct handled in the opposite way.

Both signs are fundamentally concerned with value, attachment, and holding on.
