Moon Sign
The zodiac sign the Moon was passing through at the moment of your birth.
Because the Moon moves roughly 13° per day -- compared to the Sun's roughly 1° -- it changes sign every two to three days. That means your moon sign, like your rising sign, depends on your birth date and roughly your birth time, not just the date alone.
Where the sun sign is often read as core identity and the rising sign as outward style, the moon sign is traditionally read as emotional temperament -- how you process and react, rather than how you present.
