Orb
The margin of degrees on either side of an exact aspect angle that still counts as that aspect being active.
Aspects are rarely exact. Two planets might form a trine at 121.4° instead of a perfect 120° -- still close enough to count, just not razor-precise. The margin of allowed drift is called the orb, and it's usually expressed as how far off exact the angle currently is: an orb of 0.3° is about as tight as it gets, while an orb of 7-8° is on its way in or out of range.
A smaller orb is generally read as a stronger, more precise version of the aspect. On the Transits page, every listed aspect shows its orb for exactly this reason -- it tells you how "on" that particular relationship currently is.
